Ergobalancer

The Ergobalancer is a manually controlled and pneumatically driven manipulator with an electronic control that automatically balances any load to a "weightless" condition. The load can conveniently be moved, quickly and with great accuracy, to any position within the operating area of the arm.

 

Function

The Ergobalancer has no buttons or levers and does not need any time consuming adjustments for different loads. Even if the load is changing during handling, it is perfectly balanced at all times. The operator can move the floating load in any direction (vertically or horizontally) just by pushing or pulling it in the desired direction. The control is so simple and logical, that anyone using it will achieve high speed and safety in a matter of minutes.

Safety

A brake prevents uncontrolled movements of the arm if the load is inadvertently lost, incorrectly handled, failure of the control system etc. Special valves keep the arm still in case of electricity or compressed air failure.

Design

The Ergobalancer is available in two models, Type BA and Type BB. The choice of model depends upon several factors, such as ceiling height, reach in/reach under needs etc. Please consult ERGOFLEX for advice. The ERGOBALANCER is also available with a manual balancing system where the loads are preset, or with a handle by which the lifting speed is steplessly regulated.

Installation

The Ergobalancer can be installed on a pillar on the floor, from the ceiling or on a console on the wall.

The Ergobalancer can also be mounted for mobile purposes on a trolley or on a heavy base for transportation with a forklift truck or hand pallet truck.

Sizes

The Ergobalancer is available in several sizes according to adjacent tables. Other sizes are quoted on request. We also make hydraulic manipulators with lifting capacity up to 1,500 lbs.

Technical Data Ergobalancer BA

Ergobalancer Type BA is in mechanically built as Ergolift Type MA. The difference is in how to operate the manipulator. The lifting and the lowering of the arm system is operated automatically be means of an electronic control.

Technical Data Ergobalancer BB

Ergobalancer Type BB is vertically and horizontally balanced and designed to operate in very low ceiling heights.

The Ergobalancer has no push buttons or levers and does not need any time consuming adjustments for different loads. This is operated automatically by the electronic control system.

The shape of the outer arm is always designed after the specific handling need i.e. the angle of the outer arm is customized. The omega axis is always equipped with a pneumatic parking brake for secured handling. Counter weight balancing of the arm is standard.
